Liquid ingredients: Water Extracted Chromista Algae Oil – Schizochytrium sp., natural tocopherol as antioxidant.Veg-Softgel ingredients: corn starch (non GMO/gluten free), carrageenan (from edible seaweed), vegetable glycerine, purified water.
The algae we use is a single cell organism that has no known allergies.
The carrageenan in our soft gel casing is extracted from Irish Moss, a red edible seaweed. It is a safe, food grade carrageenan that is non toxic and not carcinogenic.
Many people confuse safe food grade carrageenan with an industrial use form with a similar name such as iso-carrageenan that is modified.
